IDLE WORKERS As of June 16th, the number o jobless workers drawing Federal-state unemployment com pensation declined to a 1956 low of 1,193,200. The total was still higher than for the same week a year ago when 1,139,400 work- i ers were drawing jobless pay. These figures do not take in to account the thousands of steel workers now idle because of the current strike.
