As we enter we hear that they are discussing the various TV programs that are on that night. Joe rises, walks over to the TV set, and turns it on. Life! ! ! ! program with Pean French as Dennis, Jim Ulrich as Uncle Earl, Dan Huebner as Steve, and June Wagner as Mom. Newburn 1 CALDWELL- LINDER FUNERAL HOME with Mr. Peter Sands played by Don Faris, Miss Susie McNa mara played by Beverly Sprieck and Miss Vi Praskins played by Lois Gapen. Mr. Sands is try ing desperately to get the pro duction rights for "Snipe Hunt ing In Africa" which was writ ten by Vernon Kaffenberger and stars Bill Gansmer and Sandra Burch. Mrs. York, now wanting to watch her favorite musical show, turns to another channel for the Ed Sullivan Show fea turing Ron Nichols, who replac ed Ed Sullivan. Ron is introduc ing one of his star attractions, which, lo and behold, is now the world famous PHS Sextet with Minnie Etta Frazer, Beverly Harris, Deanne Hutton, Carolyn Larsen, Brenda Ofe and. Nancy Siemoneit. During the commer cial, we find Shirley Traut and Nancy Holman demonstrating the new Super Atomic Lincoln Space Car which last year broke all the mileage tests to Mars. The next attraction on the show is the famous ballet star "Sus ette Feriece", formerly known as Janice Wiles, whose accom paniest is that wonderful pianist, Ann Winscot. At 7:30 p.m., Joe switches to the other channel to watch the last part of Colgate Comedy Hour, which features Jeannie Newton and her fast tapping rou tine, accompanied by the great concert pianist Margaret Eiting. The next program is "I Love Loosely", featuring the lovable, charming, and fascinating cou ple, Jo Ann Livingston and Ed Egenberger in another one of their lovable adventures with their landlords, Carol Potschies and Herman Weber. Joe, overcoming Mrs. York's objections, insists on watching his favorite mystery, "The Line Up," starring Larry Wiysel and Bill Weiss as the two trust worthy? loyal? and hard work ing???? policemen, who at tempt to break up a vicious gang of kidnappers trying to steal the dirty bird from George Gobel's show, which has been taken over by Don Gerbeling. They catch suspicious charac ters, among whom are Jim Han ika, Lynn Fitzgerald, Gary New burn, Francis Gochenour .and Ron Van Ackern. These men?? are found guilty and are sent enced to twenty lashes with a wet noodle.' Mr. and Mrs. York are not able to decide between "The Medic," featuring the eminent Doctors Sally Amato and Joanne Keeley, who are trying to solve a baffling case of Arterealscler aric of the Cranium, and "The Big Story," with Don Beckman and his secretary Pat Hull. The program is now interrupt ed with an advertisement by Pat Carr who is demonstrating "Bub bles" shampoo. The time is 10:00 p.m., time for the weather, news, and sports with Weldon Stoehr and his Weather Bird Beannie (play ed by Darrel O'Neal). Windy Lorin (Toman), News Commentator, gives his view point on the latest up-to-date news story, The Greatest Pres idential Race of the Century, "Will Tom Kraeger run for the President of the Pea Pickers' Un ion or will Madam (Phyllis) Martin be nominated by her party?" Another top news head line is: "The Continental (Roger Wehrbein) has been seen in his late model Jaguar with Holly wood's two most prominent young stars, Rose Mary Nelson and Yvonne Fuller. Giving the Woman's view on f Fashions is Rosaiyn Koubek with her models, Karen Jacobs, Nan cy Painter, Shirley Eledge and Kay Kaffenberger. Sport Commentator, Vernon Aylor, interviews the All-American Stars: baseball, Denny Hirz; basketball, Joe Grauf ; and foot ball, Lorin Haase. The winners of the Stock Car Races Gary Younker and Larry Meisinger; the winners of the Powder Puff Race 1st place. Shirley Hild: 2nd place, Juanita Campbell; tie for 3rd, Betty Thimgan and Bar bara Lanum. Newest Olympic Volley Ball Stars Donna Coop er and Cecelia Forbes. At 10:30 p.m. we see "Big Town with Ronald (Foto) Furse as the daring young re porter, Steve Wilson and Bev erly Sullivan as his secretary, Lorilie. They are trying to solve the exciting case of "Who Hit Horrible Hanna on Her Hard Head With The Heavy Ham mer?" The late show is a Cowboy Classic, starring Banjo Ulrich as the. tall, dark and handsome stranger saving the young, in nocent ranch owner's daughter, Shirley Sudduth, from having the mortgage forclosed on her ranch by the ornery and no good "Rusty" Snodgrass. Just as the cattle stampede is heading for little Shirley, and Banjo is riding gallantly to ward her, the TV tube breaks. Mrs. York tells Joe about the programs she saw in the after noon. Two Occasion s Then on Tuesday morning the, class naa breakfast at the First Methodist Church as gueests cf the following mothers: Mrs. Aherns, Mrs. Glenn Ea ger, Mrs. Marion Reichart, Mrs. Richard Heim, Mrs. W. F. Gra ham, Mrs. James Workman and Mrs. Tom Robbins. Freshman girjs were waitres ses for the 6:30 a.m. affair.
