Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Pilf old . and Debbie of Hastings, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Ccmstock of Oma ha; Mr. and Mrs. Gayl Walter and family of Ceresco; Mr. Henry Jauch of Shelby and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rouse were Christmas dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Rouse and Lar ry. .Mr. and Mrs. Tuney Wall had Christmas dinner with their son, Robert Wall and fam ily. Mr. and Mrs. John Easley of Omaha had Christmas dinner with the Robert Wall family. Mrs. Easley is Mrs. Wall's moth er. Mr. and Mrs. George Rouse and Larry were Thursday eve ning dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rouse. Greenwood Dances at Party Judy Leadabrand appeared at the Cornhusker Hotel Friday evening, with a Lincoln studio, entertaining the Insurance Un derwriters at their Christmas party. Judy did her tap solo. Greenwood -r Mrs. Frank Hurtbut spent Saturday with her mother, Mrs. Lydia Mercer, in Elmwood. Mrs. Elmer Leadabrand and Mrs. A. J. Leadabrand called on Mrs. Walter Woitzel Friday afternoon. , Mr. and Mrs. Everett Jardine and family of Grand Island spent Christmas with Mr- and Mrs. Frank Hurlbut and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Morris. Greenwood LivcWirc Boys Livewires Boys' club had a Christmas party at the Robert Wall home with Bobby Wall as host, assisted by Jerry, Ronnie and Donnie Offenbacker. Judy Leadabrand, junior leader, had charge of the Christmas games and Bobby, Jerry, Donnie and Ronnie played Santa Claus and passed out the gifts. Mrs. Wall and Mrs- Offenbacker served a festive Christmas lunch of red jello, candy and Christmas cookies and cocoa. There were 18 boys present. Greenwood Mr. and Mrs. D. C Turner and family of Omaha spent Christmas Day with the K. D. O'Rourke family. Mr. and Mrs. Turley Wall were in Lincoln Thursday and visited with their son, James, who is in St. Elizabeth's hospital. Senior M-Y-F. of the Metho dist church went caroling Fri day evening. Greenwood School Programs Greenwood school presented a Christmas program Wednes day evening at the school. Miss Bess Bowen presented her kin dergarten, first and second grades singing "Davy Crockett," Up on the Housetop" and re citing "Night Before Christ mas." Mrs. vera Meese and the third, fourth and fifth grades presented a play, "Santa's Dream," and a group of cow boys who sang. Mrs. Evelyn Moon and the sixth, seventh and eighth grades gave a Christmas pageant, "Let Us Adore Him," with four scenes from the Christmas story. The high school under Mrs. Charles Dyer presented "Christmas Harmony." The girls' sextet sang; an instrumental ensem ble played a duet. "Blue Christ mas" was sung by Joe and Jac queline Wiles.
