XSTSnM0UTH- NEBISKA, SEMI-WEEKLY JOURNAL LEGAL NOTICES ORDINANCE NO. 923 AN ORDINANCE CREATING STREET IMPROVEMENT DIS TRICT NO. 121 IN THE CITY OF PLATTSMOUTH, NEBRAS KA; DEFINING ITS BOUNDA RIES AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A CER TAIN STREET BY APPLICA TION OF ASPHALTIC OIL, AND SUCH OTHER WORK AS MAY BE INCIDENTAL THERETO. BE IT ORDAINED BY the Mayor and City Council of the City of Plattsmouth, Nebraska: Section 1. The Mayor and Council of the City of Platts mouth in the County of Cass, State of Nebraska, hereby tind and declare that it is to the best interest of the said city to create Street Improvement Dis trict No. 121. Section 2. There is hereby created within the City of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, a Street Improvement District to be known and designated as Street Improvement District No. 121, the outer boundaries of which are as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the west property line of Six teenth Street and the north property line of the east-west alley in Block 18, Dukes Addi tion, City of Plattsmouth, Ne braska; Thence west along the north property line extended of said alley in Block 13, Dukes Addi tion, to its intersection with the west property line of Eighteenth Street (also known as Maiden Lane) ; Thence north along the west property line of Eighteenth Street to its intersection with the south property line extend ed of the east-west alley in Block 13, Dukes Addition, City of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; Thence east along the south property line extended of said alley in Block 13, Dukes Addi tion, to its intersection with the west property line of Sixteenth Street; Thence south along the west property line of Sixteenth Street to the point of beginning. Section 3. The following street within said Street Im provement District shall be and hereby is ordered improved by the application of asphaltic oil, to wit: Main Street, from the west property line of Sixteenth Street to the west property line of Eighteenth Street. All work essential for or nec essarily incidental to the con struction of said improvement shall be done in connection therewith as a part thereof. Section 4. All of said improve ment shall be constructed to the established grades as fixed by ordinance of said city and shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications to be made by Elmer Gochenour, Special Engineer employed by the city and to be approved by the council. Said improvement shall be made at public cost but sDecial assessments on the spe cially benefitted property shall be levied to reimburse the city to the extent provided by law. In the arts i and crafts section, Bill French came up with a belt and a pistol holder to match and Jack Miller had a variety of things including a billfold, a coin purse and a key ring.
