Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stickney of Wav erly were additional afternoon guests. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Odell and family of Omaha were Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Odell. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sowards and Mr. and Mrs. Dod Miller and sons visited Mr. V. E. So wards at St. Elizabeth hospital Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Sowards spent most of last week at the hospital with her father-in-lawr. Others of the family have tak en turns being writh him. Mr. and Mrs. Orie Sowards, Marvin and Joanne, spent Sunday eve ning with him. Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Hoffman, son and daughter, left Wednes day morning for their home in Long Beach, Calif., after a ten- day visit at the John Hoffman nuuie. Mrs. Robert Benner and David of Ogallala and her father, Or ville Sandy, of Greenwood were Tuesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nelson. Pamela Harris returned home with her mother after a week stay at the Laughlin home. Sue Sandy remain ed at the Nelson home for a week visit. Mrs. Joe Barry and family of Agnew; Mrs. Mary Stander, William and Leva were Friday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stander and ' family. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kellogg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Moore and sons and Milton Box attended a Rueter family pic nic at Louisville Lakes Sunday. There were people there from Omaha, Lincoln, Scribner, Oakland, Wa hoo, Leshard, Ashland, Mem pluis, Ithaca, Wann and Union The picnic was held at Wild Court park. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eckery and family of Alvo were Friday evening visitors at the Harold Kellogg home. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Twiss of Louisville; Mr. and Mrs. Art Box and Milton were Sunday eve ning guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Moore and sons. They were celebrating Mr. Moore's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Box took ice cream and cake which was served during the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan E. Arm strong spent Saturday with Mrs. Willis James and family in Peru. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stander and family went to Dunbar Sunday where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Gergen and daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Dod Miller and sons of Plattsmouth have been spending quite a little time at the Bruce Sowards home while Mrs. Sowards has been staying with V. E. Sowards at the hos pital.
