Mrs. Wirth sent corsages to two shut-ins at a home in Syracuse and Mrs. Scharp sent a gift to the Hill top home at Weeping Water. Mrs. Merle Meyer was appoint ed chairman of a bake sale and bazaar to be held at the hall at Avoca on March 26. The president assigned sever al topics for discussion at tho next meeting. Miss Mur doch acompanied Mrs. Kruger to Barneston the past week to spend several days with Mrs. Kruger's son-in-law and daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Diedrich sen and family. Miss Murdoch left Monday for Araphoe, Neb., to spend some time with her aunt, Mrs. Delia Murdoch, who was recently injured in a fall. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kruger and two sons were dinner guests Sun riav of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wolph. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Stone and Mrs. R. B. Stone took Mrs. Jim Stone to Lincoln Wednes day to take the train to her home in Tucson, Ariz. Mrs. R. B. Stone entertained at a family dinner Monday honoring Mrs. j Jim Stone. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Stone and Carol; Mr. and Mrs.-. Neil Pierce and Neila; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jame son and famiiy; and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hall. Tuesday they went to Omaha to visit Mr. and Mrs. John Petrow and their now son.
