The Wagoners have 2 sons. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Doan of Louisville and Mr. and Mrs. Les tor Wagoner, living; near Cedar Creek. Glendale Mrs. Shrader Rhoden visited over the week end at the Floyd Gaur home. Mrs. Clarence Sutton enter tained Sunday dinner honoring Mrs. Clarence Sjogren's birth day. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sjogren and family, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Sutton, Frank Wolf, Elmer Sprieck and Ruth Ann. Mrs. Sprieck and other girls were recovering from a siege of flu. Glendale Golden Wedding Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Baker of Louisville celebrated their 50th anniversary Tuesday, Feb. 22, with their children, grandchil dren, 16 of them, and 13 great grandchildren. Glendale Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Derby and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Derby were dinner guests Sun day at the Beauford Clinken beard home. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gaur called at the George and Elmer Stoehr home Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson drove to Kearney Feb. 12 to visit Mr. and Mrs. E. M. McFarland. Glendale Wedding Anniversary Mrs. Robert Sell, Mrs. Fred Minor and Mrs. Jim Anderson cooked and served a turkey din ner Sunday at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Robbins, honoring their 26th wedding anniversary. Among the 24 present were Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Woolhiser and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rich ard Robbins, Mrs. Goldie Rob bins of Plattsmouth, Mrs. Tom Tennant,. Mr, and Mrs. Jim An derson, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Minor, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sell and family, Lary and Orville Robbins, Jr., and Kenneth" Dobs. Mr. and Mrs. Robbins received many gifts in remembrance of the oc casion. Glendale Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Ritter visited at the" Tom Tennant home Wednesday evening. Other callers were Mr. and Mrs. Mel vin Reed. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard John son and Vicki were supper guests at the Elmer Johnson home Saturday. Mrs. Grace Plybon Phone 4-2247 Evening dinner guests of Mrs. Nettie Mendenhall on Monday, Feb. 7 were Ruth Monning, Em ily Gonzales, Lena Rieke, Alma Clements, and Grace Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Norris of Oswego, Illinois, and her aunt, Mrs. Myrtle Thorson, of Leland, 111., visited from Sunday until Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bornemeier and with Mrs. Lena Bornemeir. Mrs. Norris is the former Ruth Born emeier. Rev. F. H. Stevens underwent surgery at Bryan hospital on Tuesday, his daughter Barbara was his nurse for a time. His home is at Harvard and he is getting along all right now. Mrs. Frank Buell reported on pre-cooked foods and the buy ing of meats at the Bluebird meeting with Mrs. Rosenkoetter for February. Mrs. Horton men tioned that a book, "Represent ative Nebraskans," is now in the library. Mrs. Nettie Mendenhall en tertained with four tables of Som-R-set on Wednesday even ing of last week. The committee called Dr. Story to tell him he need not come from Lincoln for services on Sunday morning: The, Metho dists had church, school then went to the EUB services. The male quartet sang and theme of Rev. Kampman's sermon was "The Skill and Power of the Great Physician", the text be ing from Mark: "He has done .all things well". The United Youth Fellowship will meet at the Methodist church at 6:30 Sunday, Feb. 27. Mrs. Ernest Ebeler fell on the ice recently and injured the lig aments of her knee. Mrs. Harry- Shimmin from Minneapolis, (the former Jos ephine Hite) has been a guest at the Alva Reid home th past week.
