She was given a $150 scholarship last week by radio station KFAB. She was a contestant in the state 4-H public speaking con test last June during the state 4-H club week. Miss Karherine Ptak One of 52 4-H Club Contest Winners Miss Katherine Ptak, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Ptak, was announced one of 52 4-H Club news writing contest winners Saturday by Asst. State 4-H Club leader Guy R. Davis. Miss Ptak, a member of Thrif ty Stitchers 4-H Club will re ceive a Certificate of Merit of fered by the World-Herald and will also be eligible for one more honor that will go to 12 of the 52 regional champions. The chosen 12 will be awarded scholarships to next spring's 4 H Club Week program at the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture.
