Mrs. Bessie Core Phone 4377 Mrs. Fritz Franke who under went surgery at the Methodist hospital in Omaha is much im proved and was able to return to her home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Van Over beck drove to LuVerne, Minn, last week and all enjoyed a couple of weeks at the homes of their daughters. Mrs. Joe Searles and family and Mrs. Wm. Searles and family. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baines Jr. and family of Loveland, Colo, came last week for a few days visit in this vicinity with Mr. Baines' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baines Sr. and oth er relatives. Nolan Hickman of Denver Shirley Mac Jelinck And Bill Ingram Married In Wahoo Shirley Mae Jelinek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Jelinek of Wahoo and Bill Ingram, son of Bill Ingram of Louisville were married- at the St. Wenscelaus Catholic church at Wahoo on Saturday, Aug. 7. The bride worked at the Nebraska Ord nance plant at Wahoo for more than a year and the groom is employed at the Ash Grove Lima and Portland cement plant at Louisville. After a short trip to Minnesota for their honeyrnoon the couple will be at home n Louisville. Louisville Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and daughter Ann of Creighton, Nebr. were guests Friday and Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Hennings. Mr. and Mrs. Don Urwin took advantage of the Labor Day ! weekend to move into their new home. They have been living in the basement and now have the house finished. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sell and family returned last week from a 10-day vacation in Denver, treatment. It is thought she will have to stay at least a week. The drive for polio fund for District 88-31-97 netted $84. Mrs. Maurice Miller, Herb Meisinger and George Schroeder assisted in the collection.
