Nebraska. An extension of the County Lease Agreement with 'the Lin coln Equipment Company for the purchase of one Model 12 Caterpillar Motor Grader for District No. 2 was signed by the Beard. The employes had refused a proposal for a pay cut. CORPORATE PROFITS Corporate profits of manufac turers before taxes dropped 23 per cent in the first quarter of this year from figures for the similar 1953 period.
