George Wil-' liam Mack was just leaving the jail after four and half years of a six-year term of burglary. The usual routine shakedown search was preformed and Mack gath ered up his few belongings and prepared to leave. Excusing him self for a moment, he dashed to the basement and returned with a small bundle he said he had almost forgotten. In it, officers found First Sergeant Champ Zumbrun's gold watch and cig arette lighter. Mack was promptly charged with larceny and again lodged in jail. Police chased the car.-. which stopped after sea water got into the engine, and ths drenched occupants clambered out.
