Later they went to the home of Mrs. Howard Bird, Sharon and Don, in Omaha, where they had ice cream and cake. The day was in celebration of Donnie Schmidt's birthday. South Ashland Friends From South At Roeber Home Mrs. Lyle Miller of McCook and Mrs. Richard LaPart and Tressa of Hastings were house ? guests of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roeber and fam ily last week. Mrs. Miller is the wife of Pastor Miller whom the Roebers visited at Fairhope. Ala bama, last fall. Pastor Miller is now in chaplain school at New Rochelle, N. Y., and will finish his training September 1st. He will then be stationed at Co lumbia, S. C. Mrs. LaPart's hus band formerly made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Roeber for about three years. The above named ladies also visited at the L. J. and Leonard Roeber homes during their stay here. , Mrs. Raymond Ronnekamp and Cindy of Hastings spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. L. J.
