Fawell one day last week. Mrs. Max Town from Omaha who has been visiting her par parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. 3. Stroemer went home last Thurs day. Carpi and Stephen stayed for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dines urove to byracuse Sunday to vis it Mrs. Dinges father, who isnt very well. Afvo Orcgorsbns Surprise Cousins Mrs. Mabelle Winn and Ralph were surprised Wednesday mor ning when their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Re.iburn "came from Portland, Ore. to visit them. They had been down in Thayer, Mo. They .said it was awful hot and dry there. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bennett the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Waiter Stchlmm of Louisville and their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tisdale from Wash ington, D. C. Monday evening. They all went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Reed at Lincoln from there to call on them. Sun day callers were Mr. and Mrs. El mer Bennett and evening call ers wen. Mr. and Mrs. Orland Eennett and children. Alvo Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Comstock from Kansas visited Mrs. Com stock's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Rber Sr. last week. Sun day visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Reber Jr. Mr. and Mrs. John Weichcl and children drove to Clatonia bunday to the home of Mrs. Weichels parents. From there they all went to DeWitt and had a steak fry. They also vis ited the scene of the Rock Island train wro:k. Mr. and Mrs. Max Reed of Lin coln entertained at dinner June 20 Fathers day honoring the fathers of the couple, Mr. Dick Reed an. Mr. Earl Bennett. Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Bennett were al so guests. Mrs. Mible Kitzel, Maggie Ni ckel and Ma. Mabelle Winn drove to Ashland Friday after noon. Mrs. Kitzel called on her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Friend. Mrs. Winn and Maggie Nickel called on Mr.;. Edith Bockelman. Alvo . Two Honored On Birthdays Sunday Mrs. Mabelle Winn enter tained at dinner Sunday honor ing the birthdays of her daugh ter, Mrs. Evelyn Cheever and her son, Ralpi. Those present be sides the honored guests were Mr. Hubert Cheever, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cheever and Kathy Joe. Mr. Bert Cheever and friend Miss Nita Triangco. Mr. and Mrs. (Art Klyver all from Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Larson of Eagle and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Klyver. Evening callers were Mr, and Mrs. August Bockelman. Alvo Srunkow Family Reunion Is Held The Brunkow reunion was held Sunday, June 27th at th-i home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Brunkow. There were thirty-two guests there from Minnesota, California, Colorado, South Da kota. Lincoln, Murdock and Elmwood. Mr. Albert Brunkow from California and Mrs. Keck ler from Colorado spent last week at the home of Mr. and Brunkow at Alvo Brunkow at Mur- Mrs. Herman and Mr. Bill dock. THOMAS WALLING CO. Aaron Bachman returned home from Bryan Memorial hos pital Saturday after a week's treatment for an infection in his leg. Mr. Bachman is to keep off his feet for a time, then re turn for a check up. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd DeFreece and family of Cairo spent Sat urday night and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan E. Armstrong. Additional Sunday afternoon and lunch guests were Mr. De Freece's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clif DeFreece and sister and brother-in-law, Air. and Mrs. James Runnells, all of Omaha. Herbert Roberts of Omaha was a Thursday supper guest of Mr. nnri Mrs. Roy Keller. On Fri day Mr. and Mrs. Keller enter tained Mr. and Mrs. Otis Keller of North Hollywood at their home.
