The Fairland Giants 4-H club will meet at District 58 school -house at 8 p.m. on April 23. Mr. John B. Peterson is im proving at Bryan Memorial hos pital and able to have visitors. This week, Eddie has mumps. John Roeber is back in school after a tussel with the mumps. Marilyn Koib also has mumps. Kathy Born man has chicken pox and Leste: Roeber is ill with measles. Mil ler of Baildon, Yorkshire, Eng land, and Sterling R., of West Palm Beach, Florida; and seven daughters, Mrs. Ruth Brittain, Phoeniz, Ariz.; Mrs. Eloise Brad berry of Indianapolis, Indiana; Mrs. Betty Spangler of Platts mouth, Mrs. Hazel Vance of Pleasantdale, Mrs. Mary Burke of Omaha, Mrs. Louise Mason of Shell Beach, California, and Mrs. Alta Archer of San Diego. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Olson of California; and six brothers, Jim of Eureka, 111., Will of Medicine Lodge. Robb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Robb, 203 S. 15th St., Ashland, is serving with the 32nd Anti-Aircraf t Artillery Brigade m England. Robb is a member of the 92nd AAA Battalion which is training with U. S. Air Force, Royal Air Force and British -Army units. He entered the Army last Aug ust and arrived overseas in February.
