The Rev. Val Johnson officiat ed at final rites at which Mrs. 'and builder. He was married in 11913 to Edna Shepardson at Ne braska City. She died at Murray in 1917. ! Born March 22. 1882, the son of George and Llzie Moore Gregg, he came to the Murray com munity with his parents at the Lowell Hamblin of Plattsmouth. Mr. Triggs is employed with the U. S. Army Engineers and the couple will reside at Plattsmouth. Union Dysarts Have Supper Guests Supper guests at the Jesse Dysarts last Thursday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Feus ,ner of Weldon, Iowa and Mr; and Mrs. LaVern, of Ames, Iowa. LaVern Feusner will be eraduated from Ames college on Dec. 18th. Later he and his fam ily will move to Lincoln where he will be with the Armour Fer tilizer Company. Mrs. Melvin Feusner is a daughter of Dy- y sarts and LaVern is a graind- son. Union - Ten Members At WSCS Meeting At The Woman's Society of the Christian Service met at the country home of Mrs. J. Chris tensen. last Friday afternoon. Mrs. Robt. Harrah Sr., was co hostess. Ten members and three guest- Mrs. Lester Hathaway, Mrs KxChard Mougey and Mrs. Turner, of Nebraska City, were present. The president was ab sent and Mrs! Harrah, vice pres ident presided. She opened the meeting by using Upper Room Mrs Todd led devotions by us ing Psalm 117 for her scripture lesson. Her lesson topic: "Feed ing the Modern Multitude" was an explanation of the World Wide Program of the Food and Agricultural Organization, FAO. Mrs. Carl Cross read an adticle "The Korean Church. After the Truce." Mrs. Richard Mougey and Mrs. Lester Hathaway con-,. senteci to nave tneir names placed on our membership roll, he society voted to give 500.00 to be added to the Organ Fund, the next meetine of the WSC will be held at the church on December 17th and will be a covered dish luncheon 'and gift exchange.
