A coronation crown of seed pearls held her veil of imported lingnsn-illusion and she carried! j white roses centered with a white t y orchid corsage on a white Bible. I Mrs. Jack Gilman of Nebraska City, sister of the bride, was; matron o honor. She wore a gown of deep blue satin designed with an overskirt of blue net and a satin jacket. Her braided head band of satin featured a short veil and she carried an arm bouquet of pink carnations. Mis$ Karlene Dougherty, sister of the bride, was candlelighter. She wore a floor-length gown of pastel blue lace and net and a wrist corsage of pink carnations. Cheryl Clayburn, niece of the bride from Plattsmouth. and Michael Brookhouser, also of Plattsmouth, nenhew of the groom, were ring bearers. Miss Clayburn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Clayburn, wore a floor-length dress of medium blue satin with a net overskirt and a blue net head band and wristlets. Jack Gilman was best man and ushers werre Gerald Clay burn and Dennis Heng. , Mrs. Gerald Clayburn and Mrs. Robert Brookhouser assist ed at the reception held in the club house after the ceremony. Mrs. Fern Johanns was in charge of the guest book and Mrs. Wal ter Johanns and Mrs. William Highfield were at the gift table. After a short wedding trip to Denver, Colo., the couple will live in Plattsmouth where both are employed. Mrs. Highfield grad uated from Brock high school in 1947, attended Peru State Teachers College and for the past three years has taught school at Plattsmouth. Mr. Highfield graduated from Plattsmouth high school, served two and one-half years in the navy and is employed at the Burlington shops here. The visiting lodge members were Mrs. Mary Joerger, Mrs. Norma Barkhurst, Mrs. Lucille Johnson, Mrs. Myrtle Ross, Mrs. Christina Anderson, Mrs. Sophia Linder and Mrs. Beulah Dick-man.- Mrs. Henry Klinger, noble were awarded to Mrs. Joe J. Sti bal and Mrs. Ted Yelick. With the close of the business meeting a social hour was en joyed with games being played and prizes awarded. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore white nylon ballerina over satin with a short jacket cf nylon net. The fitted bodice was highlighted with em broidery. The sleeves of the jacket pointed at the wrist. The skirt was handkerchief tiered. A fingertip veil of nylon net fell from -a crown of orange blos soms. She wore a pearl neck lace and matching earrings. The bride carried a white Bible and white carnations. Charles Freeman of Weeping Water, aunt of the bride, had charge of the guest book. ' A reception was held follow ing the ceremony in the church parlors. The table was beauti ful with a three tier wedding cake for the centerpiece. Mrs. Fred Freudenberg of Syracuse, aunt of the bride, cut and served the cake. Mrs. Ernest Norris poured. Presiding -at the gift table w-ere Mrs. Otto Freuden berg of Nebraska City, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Nan Carsten of Avoca. After a wedding trip to Mex ico City, Mexico, the couple will be at home at 313 Myrtle St., Sioux City, Iowa. Doris Eileen Johnson Mr.' and Mrs. Ira Johnson an nounce the engagement of their daughter, Doris Eileen, to Mr. Joel O. Breding of Los Angeles. California, son of Mr. Benny Breding. Mr. Lewiston Social Circle Club Meets , Lewiston Social Circle club met at the home of Mrs. Lee Faris at Union with Mrs. Herman Comer, co-hostess. Fourteen members were present, along with one visitor and one new member. - Mrs. Ruth Pike, . president, conducted the meeting at which each member donated a tea towel to the Lewiston Commu nity Center.
