Iowa and Gene Ricker at St. Patrick's church in Omaha Saturday morning. Thursday from Rapid City, So Dak., where she spent a weeii with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jack son and daughter. Gerald Swit zer spent a week with a cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gerstal, at Risle, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schiessler and daughter returned home Friday from Ainsworth and Sioux City, where they visited relatives for ten days. NVhawka Dodsons Visit At Lake Erickson Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Dodson was an overnight guest at the Nutzman home and spent Wed nesday with his daughter, Mrs. Sheldon Mitchell, and family. Nthawka Mr. and Mrs. Nelse Lockard and family were recent dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Dodson. Mr. Lockard is Mrs. Dodson's brother and he was re cently transferred from Scotts Bluft to Lincoln, where he is em ployed by the state in the die- rnd fpmiv returned home from ' sei motor oil division. Lake Erickson, where they vis ited relatives and friends and en joyed fishing. On August 13 Sharon Dodson was the guest of honor at a birthday dinner giv en by Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dahls ten of Erickson. Sharon was 12 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Marcoe stayed at the Dodson farm during their absence. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Thorno and children returned Friday from Irvin. Idaho where they spent two weeks visiting rel atives. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gibson of Otanawa, Minn., and Bill Gibson of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Melvln Sturm were guests Wednesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sturm. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Waddell and Mrs. Carrie Waddell of Pawnee City were guests for the day Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Senn Waddell. A new barn is under construc tion at the Henning Johnson farm to replace the one destroy ed by fire in the spring. The farm is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Marion Tucker. Ann Nutzman was a guest for several days the past week of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Shomaker of Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Shomaker were guests Cain and made a trip to Yel- at the Nutzman home and Ann lowstone Park. Mrs. Cain and (returned home witn tnem. Mrs. Thorne are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Eaton and family are visiting relatives at Walthill this week. Capt. and Mrs. Harold Hau berg and family of El Paso, Tex., were guests for several days the past week at the Kent Balfour home. Marilyn, Kenneth and Larry showed their Holstein heifer calves. Marilyn won two red ribbons on her calves and Ken neth and Larry won a blue and a red. Nehawka Mildred Nutzman returned ! Wednesday from a vacation at Brush and Denver, Colo. She spent several days at Omaha with her sister, -Janet, who re turned with her to spend the week end.
