Tommy and Linda Gregg, chil dren of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gregg, have been visiting the past week in the home of their grandmother, Mrs. Maude Ruhge of Avoca, Nebr. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hoschar and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Radke spent the week end on a fishing trip at Johnson Lake near Lex ington, Nebr. Murray Youth Group Elects Officers The Christian Endeavor group of Murray have elected new of ficers for the coming term. Tak ing office on Sunday night were president, Bobby McKulsky; vice president, Nancy Lancaster; sec retary and treasurer, Minnie Mae Hoschar, and news reporter, Marilyn Sporer. The pianist is Janice Lancaster. Song leader, Joel Reike. A party for the Endeavor group was held on Sunday evening. Murray Mr. and Mrs. Art Taylor have moved into their newly con structed home in Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Nickles have moved from Plattsmouth to an apartment in Fred Druck er apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jenkins vis ited several days last week in Milwaukee, Wis., visiting with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Jenkins. . Pat Jenkins is to undergo an operation in a Philadelphia hospital in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Smith tt-ere supper guests on Fourth of July at her parents home, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hegelbeck of Brock, Nebr. Miss Irene Hiatt had the mis fortune to be burned by hot fat on her face .and forehead on Saturday. Murray Girl Is Slightly Burned in Mishap Suzanne Boedeker was burned slightly on Monday morning when her blouse brushed a lighted stove burner and ignited. Her grandmother, Mrs. Alice Stewart ripped the blouse off, thus preventing serious burns. Murray George Minford, who is home on leave from the navy suffered severe rope burns on his hands Sunday after roping a cow that was lame. The cow pulled the rope through his hands, leaving large blisters and burns. Mr., and Mrs. Fred Drucker spent the evening of the Fourth at the Gene Gruber home. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kugler and Kip of Creston, Nebr., spent Sunday at the G. E. Brubacher home. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wunder lich honored Mrs. Nell Wehr bein with a birthday dinner on July 4th. Guests were Dorothy Lloyd and Jean Howland of Plattsmouth and Mrs. Alice Creamer. Mrs. Alice Stewart of Omaha is spending her vacation with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boedeker. " Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wunder lich -were callers at the Bill Rosencrans home in South Bend on Thursday evening. Rev. Roy P. Morris attended the ministers institute at Tar kio, Mo., from Monday to Friday last week. The institute had ministers from six states. . Rev. H. B. Hutchman has re turned from a month's vacation in the east. Rev. Roy P. Morris received word that his 94 year old moth er had fallen and broken her hip and is in serious condition. Mr. and Mrs. Dude Hiatt and family were visiting her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lechliter, also her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Crosby at Hooper, Nebr. Murray Picnic Is Held At Morris Home - A picnic was held at tne Olin Morris home on the evening of the Fourth. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. James Comstock, Char lie and Mary Lois, Charles Mead, H. B. Hutchman, J. C. Comstock and Cecil Comstock of Platts mouth, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Mor ris of Union, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Ross and Dianne of Nehawka, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Morris, Pam, Allen and Gary and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lankheit of Omaha. Callers later in the eve ning were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wehrbein and Billy and Mrs. Jessie Wehrbein of Plattsmouth. Murray Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wunder lich and Mrs. Alice Creamer were dinner guests on Sunday evening at the home of Dorothy Lloyd in Plattsmouth. Several Murray ladies visited Mrs. Gomer Worthan and Dian na Lynn in the Clarkson hos pital in Omaha on Thursday. They were Mrs. Harold Gregg, Mrs. Johnny Stones, Mrs. Bert Worthan and Mrs. Evelyn Gan-semer.
