The groom graduated from Plattsmouth high school in 1852 and has been employed at the Union Pacific shops at Omaha. The couple will reside at 601 South 5th street, in Omaha. : Engagement Announced Mr. and Mrs. Elvin G. French of Plattsmouth announce the en gagement of their daughter, Ann Patricia Wiley French, tj Raymond H. Litle, son of Mrs. Lena Litle of Plattsmouth. Auxiliary Mrs. Dale Bowman of Platts mouth has been elected presi dent of District 6, V. F. W. Aux iliary. Mrs. Bowman was named Sunday at the disrtict meeting held at Falls City. At the meeting, Mrs. Don Warga was elected conductress; Mrs. Sophia Woiever, secretary; Mrs. Hazel Fitch and Mrs. Lloyd Fitch, color bearers. Markham and family of Charlestown, Ind., arrived Wednesday to at tend graduation exercises here. Their son, Jim. was a member of the senior class. Jim had attended school here the past year while staying with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs F. H. Vincent. Other week end guests at the Vincent home were Mrs. C. E. Snider of Culver City, Colo.; and Mr. and Mrs. Leo McCrum of Grand Island. The Markhams left Monday for Indiana. Their son accom panied them on their return trip. Bergmanns In Wisconsin For Son's Graduation Mr. and Mrs. John Bergmann, Mary Ann and Joan, drove to Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, i Thursday for baccalaureate services that evening and grad uation on Friday for their son, John Francis. He graduated from Champion Jesuit high school there, where he also re ceived 4 years instruction and training in ROTC. From there the Bergmann family went to Waupun, Wis., where they visited a sister of Mr. Bergmann,. Sister M. George, QS.F., who had undergone sur gery on Thursday. John Francis went to Chicago for the senior prom at a houi there and will spend eve. (; days visiting at the homes re members of his class in Chic;, and Fort Wayne, Ind.
