Greenwood Rose McDonald Phone 69-2448 Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hurlbut were Mrs. John Grady and daughter. Mr. Merril Hoenshell was a guest at the E. L. McDonald home Saturday evening. Mr. Frank Comstock has pur chased a new Ford. Mrs. Maude Waugh spent the week end with her sister, Mrs. Cora Miller, at Lincoln. Montanans Are Greenwood Guests' Mrs. Sally Iden and Mrs. Maude Smith oi Billings, Mon tana have been visiting at the home of Dr. and Mrs. N. D. Tal cot; the past three weeks. While here Mrs. Iden, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Talcott drove to St. Joseph. Mo., and visited relatives and friends. They also spent some time at Sioux City, Iowa, and visited at Tekamah, Nebr., with an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Neennelly. Couple Celebrates 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Guy James cele brated their 50th wedding an niversary May 17 at the Christ ian church. Open house was held in the afternoon, and the ladies of the Dorcas society so ciety served refreshments, which were carried out in yellow and white. Robinson of Ashland Greenwood Uncle Dies At Lincoln Recently Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eckery attended the funeral of Mr Eckery's uncle, Mr. Charles Eck ery, Wednesday morning, May 13. at St. Teresa's church in Lincoln. Mr. Eckery was a re tired canker, had been asociat ed with banks at Stanford, Exe ter and Cedar Rapids, Nebr. Following this they went to the theater building where they, the P.T.A. and the American Legion sponsored a Safety meeting.
