Adams, and plans to move there sometime before June 1. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Lenz were his brother, Ed Lenz and his sister, Mrs. Lucy Koelling, both of Ord, Nebr. There was a good number in attendance at the basket din ner at the Methodist church early Sunday evening and a crowded house at the Holy Land pictures shown later by Wm. Atchison. Elm wood Miss Wood Will Talk to Kensington Community Kensington is scheduled to meet with Mrs. Robb on April 23 at which time Myrtle Wood will tell something of her travels in South America either by films or words. Miss Wood later visited in New Mexico where her niece, Mrs. Grace Staten Barmore, a former ranking state officer in the Woman's Club and in Democratic committee circles was ill with arthritis in a serious form. Myr tle returned with her to her Lexington home and stayed and cared for her for two weeks. Einiwood Barn, House Are Being Constructed Leonard Parish is having a barn built on the premises of his sister, Mrs. Lucinda Brant. Near them a house is started on the Don Hoffman lots. This family is now living in the Per kins trailer. The Perkins fam ily have purchased lots and have a home built in Hawaii. They expect to be stationed there for at least two years. Elnwood Seniors Present Plav on Friday Friday evenine the seniors, as sisted by two juniors, and di rected by Mrs. Mulnix did them selves proud at their class play, "Leave it to Us." They repre sented a business venture called Promotions Limited. They so far had had no business, but they tracked down every possible prospect. Dudley Doebele was president of the concern. Keith Borne meier, vice president, and Beth Blessing, stenographer. Then there was the friend and helper, Judy Cook, the charwoman, with a lively part. Shirley Hall, and her janitor friend, Dick Woods. Inventor prospects who partici pated were Virgil Corack, a timid man. the spinster, Darlene Plunkett, and the wealthy so cialite widow, Shirley Messel hiser, with her daughter, Gwen Gerbeling. , Musical specialties were a piano solo by Sharon Cook, a boys' trio by Dudley Doebele. Dick ADt and Virgil Goracke.'and a vocal duet by Joyceola Eiden miller and Dorothv Brakhage. The community building was ca pacity filled. Elm wood Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Clements were their son. Fred and his friend. Ben Duerfeldt, both of Peru. Mr. Duerfeldt delighted the congregation at the Methodist service on Sunday with a seem ingly perfect rendition of the solo. "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked." The sermon, "The Easter Afterglow," by Dr. Story fitted in very well. Mrs. Martha Jacobson of Chappell, Nebraska, was a guest for a few days last week at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Ed James. Mrs. Howard Canwell has been ill recently at her Lincoln home. Elmwood Mrs. Lindei Gets Gift Refrigerator This week Mrs. Harry Linder is the honoree. She appeared on television Monday from Om sha where she went to receive the gift of a refrigerator with the newest features.
