Murray Music Pupils Have Party Monday Night Piano pupils of Mrs. Glen Johnson met at her home for a party cn Monday evening. Music was the main entertainment cf the evening with each pupil participating. Eleven children were present. Mrs. John Stones assisted Mrs. Johnson with tne activities and refreshments. Murray Jimmy Gruber. son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gruber, has been con fined to his home the past week with mumps. Murray Groups Have Country Service The Junior and Senior C. E. groups met at the Christian church at 5:30 on Easter morn ing. From there they journeyed to the country for a sunrise ser vice. After services the group was served breakfast at the United Presbyterian Church. Murray Jerry Lutz has entered the service of the Armed Forces. The District Convention of the Christian church will be held at Lincoln at the East Lincoln Christian church on Aoril 12th. The Youth session will be held in the 2nd Baptist church. Good Friday services were held in the Christian church on Friday night at 8: CO o'clock. The choir sang. Vincent Phillips has purchased the Harry Marshall property in northwest Eimwood. The Melvin Juilfs family, who live there, may find an opportunity to get a location nearer. Mrs. Anna Beck had her Eas ter vacation with her daugh ter in Omaha. Mrs. Harold Krecklow taught grammer the first three days this week as Miss Aimery was at her heme in Ceresco with the flu. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Capwell attended Easter services here, and from here they went to the home of their daughter, Mrs. Wm. Streich and family, where the LeRov Cook family also vis ited for dinner, making the en tire family together. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Leavitt have each had the flu for the decker and Nancy left for Tuc-! Rural mailboxes which are- not properly erected or in cood serviceable condition, re tard mail delivery and expose mail to weather. Mrs. Brendel. postmistress, has been asked to notify those with defective mail boxes.
