r 1 I i" 1 THE PLATTSMOUTH JOITAHL PAGE THREi Thursday, February 19, 1953 Funeral Services Held Wednesday For Mr. Quinneft Memorial services were held at Sattler Funeral Home Wed nesday for James G. Quinnett, Sr., cemetery sexton here lor 12 years, who died at a Nebraska city hospital last Saturday fol lowing a lengthy illness. Rev. Harold V. Mitchell, pas tor of the First Methodist church officiated at the final rites at which Mrs. J. Howard Davis was organist. Pallbearers were Tom Blav lock, Henry Starkjohn. William Schmidtmann, c. E. Ledgway, J. Howard Davis and William Evers. Burial was at Oak Hill cemetery, where Mr. Quinett had been employed for many years. Mr. Quinnett had served " as superintendent at the cemetery for the past 12 years, after com ing to Plattsmouth 20 vears aeo. He had been in ill health for the past several months and had been hospitalized at Nebraska Citv for the greater part off the last three months. A native of Polk county, la., where he was born on August 16, 1880, he was the son of David and Sarah Quinnett. He was married on March 7, 1922 to Stella Houx at St. Joseph. Mis souri. They came to Plattsmouth 12 years later. Surviving are his wife. Stella of Plattsmouth; three sons. Lt. James G. Quinnett of Fort Riley, Kansas. Charles A. Quinneu with the armed forces in Ko rea, and. Richard L. Quinnett of Kev West. Florida: three daughters, Mrs. Gail Blank of Granlield, Kansas, Mrs. Conant Wiles of Weeping Water and Miss Sally Quinnett at home. rythP uros pre a sister, Mrs. Wm. Sattler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Indianans Are Feted While Guests Here Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Tandy came from Lebanon. Indiana, for a few davs viit with relativ es and friends. They have been guests, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Bethel. Mrs. Tandy is the former Doris Bethel. Monday night. Archie Stull, Mrs. Rilly Larsen and children.. Mr and Mrs. David Loper and son. Buddie Stull. Mr. ssiamev Wolski, Jr., and Miss Rosemary Wolski. Mrs. J. J. St. John and little daughters visited at the Glenn Bethel home, as weir as with Mr. and Mrs. Tandy.
