He helped his father get ready for his sale last Thursday in Avoca. He will soon get his discharge from the Army and will take a GI training course in Califfornia. Carter Nielsen entered the St. ; Elizabeth hospital in Lincoln Tuesday and underwent surgery on Wednesday. He came home from the hospital on Monday, Feb. 16 and is getting along just fine. They also visited with Lt.ind Mrs. .William Van Avery. Mr. Van Avery was home on leave from England but had to leave for England last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Van Avery returned to their home Thursday. Loye Bouton left Monday morning after spendingg a 20 day leave at home. His buddy from California came by for him Monday morning and they drove to the Andrews Base in Mary land. Loye is in the Air Fonte Mrs. Charles Freeman and Mickey Jean McCann spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rector. Mr. and Mrs. Bob McCann visited with Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Mayfield at the Warren Rector home Sunday afternoon. Bob and Oliver were college chums.
