If Mrs. Thomas Tennant Phone 420 Mrs. Don Crenaer and sons of Washington, Kans., arrived Sat urday morning to spend the week end at the Otto Sprieck home and visited Saturday af ternoon at the Elmer Sprieck home, while Mr. and Mrs. Sprieck attended the August Wendt funeral. ;"Mrs. Piatt and Shirley and Mrs. Lloyd Schneider visited Mrs. Martha Franke. who is re cuperating at the Earnest Hild home. Mrs. Franke underwent surgery a few weeks ago. - Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stander were in Omaha Monday. Mr. arid Mrs. Stanley Schroe der. and Mrs. Clarence Wilson of Omaha drove to New Kirk, Okla., Wednesday to visit Mr. Schroeder and Mrs. Wilsons father, who is ill. Paul and Gearl Uling of West Point visited at the Andrew Stander home Sunday. ' Mr .and Mrs. J. Ritter called at the T. A. Tennant home Sun day evening. Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Schroeder and Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Tennant were in Plattsmouth and Omaha Monday. Floyd Gaur and Linda are spending a few days in Platts mouth, recuperating. Linda has a bad case of flu and Floyd spent several days in the hos pital. Dinner guests at the Forrest Engelkemeir home Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mey erott and Arthur Meyerott of Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson were celebrating Rob ert's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lang and family of Omaha visited Sunday at tthe Lestor Tennant home. Joan Livingston called at the Dayton Hennings home cn Sun day, j Mrs. Anna Heil is staying with Mrs. C. A. Hennings, while she is convalescing. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Albert and family were dinner guests at the Harold Ahl home Sunday. James Engelkemeier, son of Mr .and Mrs. Forrest Engelke meier, was taken to Lincoln General hospital Sunday eve ning and underwent an emer gency apendectomy. Mrs. Elmer Johnson returned home Saturdav from a vmt at Kearney at the Willis Rhodes home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Parcell of Elmwood and Mr. and Mrs. Har old Striker of Omaha visited Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Albert Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Dunkel and family of Weeping Water visited Sunday at the Melvin Reed home. - - Mrs. Alice Rhoden went tn Omaha for X-rays Wednesday and returned to her home after staying at the Floyd Gaur home since leaving the hospital. Robert Wachel is home for a short leave. He has been in the PqHfic area and will go to California for six more months of schooling.
