Murray Brother-in-Law Dies at Kenesaw Mrs. Loyd Lewis received a call that her brother-in-law, John Shurgar, had passed away at his home in Kenesaw, Nebr. Mrs. Shurear is the sister of Mrs. Ruth Buffington and Mrs. Loyd Lewis. Mr. Shurgar had been in ill health for some time. Mrs. Lewis left for the funeral which will be held on Saturday. Mrs. Earl Lancaster- entered St. Mary's hospital at Nebraska City on Friday for observation nfrpr an attack of flu and a virus infection. The Manley Co-Operative Grain Co. held its annual meet ing at that place Monday. Miss Marv Ann Addyman and Mrs. Ellen Wiesneth are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Addvman. They came from California to be here for the funeral of, their brother-in-law, Charles Philpot, who was buried Saturday. Mrs. Forrest Engelkemier in vited the pupils of Glendale home Tuesday to see the inaugu ration of President Eisenhower on TV. Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Edgerton received a letter from their son, manager of the Woolworth stor? in Des Moines for some time writing that he has been ap pointed superintendent to take charge of inspection over the Fargo, N. D., district. He will have under his supervision 16 stores in different cities. ' Louisville Wringer Breaks, Injuring Lady i Mrs. Barta of Springfield was injured last Friday afternoon when the wringer of the wash ing machine she was using came j-part and hit her in the head, severing an artery.
