If not, here is an extra job it could per form for you. Since we are cau tioned not to have a fire after raking leaves, my suggestion is tn us? the mower to pulverize the leaves by mowing your lawn as if cutting grass. This will add humus to your lawn and will also get rid of the leaves. A Classified Ad in The Jour nal casts as little as 35c. Hot and cold packs were the answer Friday night as Platts- i mouth ended the 1952 grid cam- j paign with a 13-6 win over con ference foe Bellevue. Another Plattsmouth drive was earmarked touchdown in the final quarter, only to evap orate when Bellevue covered a Plattsmouth fumble on the 20. That put the Blue Devils on the defensive throughout the remainder of the game as Belle vue took to the air and rapidly moved from its own 20 yard line to the Plattsmouth 35 as time ran out. A blocked punt actually led to Plattsmouth's first marker in the opening period. Lineback er Willard Christenson crashed through to block the punt. Af tne Plattsmouth offensive failed to go the distance, Belle vue kicked out. and the Devils roared back with Blotzer cov ering the last 13 yards.
