She was ac companied by Mrs. Richard Schade. organist. For her wedding tne Drme j wore a ballerina length gown fashioned of imported chantilly lace featuring a , fitted bodice, long fitted sleeves tapering to points at the wrist, and a wing ed collar. The full skirt was underscored with slipper satin and net and the waist lengtn veil of bridal illusion was held by a satin cap covered with lace to match the gown. She carried a bouquet of white car nations and stephanotis. The bride wore pearls, a gift of the groom. Mrs. John Biegger of Omaha was matron of honor and Miss Darlene Fiscus of Alma was maid of honor. They wore pea cock blue ruffled nylon net gowns of ballerina length and matching headpieces and car ried colonial bouquets of ma roon gladioli. Candlelighter was David Cap pell. brother of the . bride. Orville Conner of Burwell was best man. Ushers were Pat Al len of Lincoln, Doyle Beavers of Bennet and Robert Cappell, brother of the bride. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Cappel wore a navy nylon boucle dress with frosty pink accessories. Her corsage was of pale pink and white carnations. The groom's mother wore a light blue dress with navy acces sories. Her corsage was pink carnations. Music at the reception which followed in the church fellow ship rooms was supplied by an antique music box belonging to the bride's parents. At the re ception. Miss Elizabeth Davis of Plattsmouth poured and Mrs. Jimmie Alkire and Mrs. Robert Aim of Plattsmouth served the wedding cake. Miss Janis Schmidtmann presided at the guest book and Mrs. William Howland and Miss Janet Tie kotter of Plattsmouth presided at the gift table. Miss Betty Uhlik of Plattsmouth, Mrs. Dean Morrison of Plattsmouth, and Mrs. John Taylor and Mrs. Pat Allen of Lincoln served. For traveling the bride chose a beige knit two-piece dress. After a short wedding trip, the couple will travel to Columbus, Georgia, where Mr. Marbaker is to report for active duty with the Army at Fort Benning, Georgia. Mrs. Marbaker, is a graduate of Plattsmouth high school and the University of Nebraska. Mr. Marbaker is also a graduate of Nebraska University. Among the many out of town guests were Rev. and Mrs. Nyoop of Elgin, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Downey and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wohlfarth of Lincoln. Alaskan Guest Is Honored At Dinner ! Honoring Boyd A. Mrs. Lewis Eaton underwent surgery at the Methodist hos pital Saturday and is getting along nicely. ' Son , . Jack Raffensperger At St. Thomas Acquinas Cath olic church on September 21, in Reno, Nevada, occurred the wedding of Miss Rita Mullhol land, daughter of Mrs. Oda Eit ing Mullholland of Jackson, Calif., formerly of Plattsmouth, Nebr.; and Lt. Jack Raffen sperger of Baltimore, Md., who is statoned at Monmouth Air Base. Reno, Nevada, son of Ma jor and Mrs. John Raffensperg er of Baltimore, Md. The service was read by Fa ther Connolley, pastor of St. Thomas church before immedi ate friends of the couple. The brfde wore a black and white tweed suit of beautiful soft wool with black accessories and a corsage of orchids. Lois Sullivan of Jackson, Calif., the bride's attendant, wore a tu-tone gray suit, with black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. , Lt. Fred Demarest of New York City was best man for LW Raffensperger. A reception was held at the Riverside Hotel in Reno. Lt. and Mrs. Raffensperger left on a wedding trip to San Francisco, then flying to New York and Baltimore. They will be at home about November 1, near Langley Field in San Fran cisco, California, where Lt. Raffensperger will be stationed. Mrs. Raffensperger attended the schooLs in Plattsmouth and graduated with the class of 1950. She is a niece of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. G. Eiting, Mr. and Mrs. N. W. McKee and Miss Helen Eiting, all of Plattsmouth. Announcing Change Of Time - Keentime Commander Roland Pruess of the Veterans of Foreign Wars has announced that the youth activities program. Keentime, that is being held on every Monaay night, will change the time, instead of the usual time. 8 to 11, the new schedule will be from 7 to 10 p. m. Membership cards are avail able and all members must have their cards. Membership card entitles the member to any 30 social or athletic activities spon sored . by the organization for youth activities. Mrs. Norene Porter, chairman, and chaperones will have cards available for Keentime Mon day night at 7:00 p. m. at the VFW club. Returns From Trip To Northwest States Mrs. r. W. Nolting returned home Tuesday from a six weeks trip that IhcIuYJed many inter esting places, of the northwest ern part of the country.
