M., and 8:00 o'clock P. M., of said day. at the voting places in said School District as hereinafter specified a School District elec tion of The School District of the City of Plattsmouth in the County of Cass in the State of Nebraska, is called and will be held for the purpose of voting; upon a proposal to issue $450. 000.00 School District bonds of SHE PLATTSMOUTH, NEBRASKA, SEMI-WEEKLY JOURNAL Monday, September 8, 1952 PAOE FIVE said School District for the pur poses hereinafter set forth in the proposition to be submitted to said electors as directed by a vote of more than a majority of the members of the Board of Education of said School Dis trict, to-wit: Shall the School District of the City of Plattsmouth in the County of Cass in the State of Nebraska issue the bonds of said School District in the amount of $450,000.00 bearing interest at a rate not to exceed three per cent per annum, interest payable semi-annually, and said bonds to be retired in not to exceed thirty years from the date of said bonds and all of said bonds shall be redeemable at the option of the School District at any time on or after five years from the date of issuance thereof as provided by law. The proceeds of said bonds to be used for the purpose of erecting and construct ing school buildings and for the purpose of heating, ven tilating and furnishing the necessary furniture and ap paratus for the same, such school buildings to be as fol lows: a new elementary school building in the area of the First Ward School, a new elementary school building in the area of the Wintersteen School; a new elementary school building in the area of the Colum bian School, and a new gen eral purpose high school ad dition at Ninth and Main Streets, said school sites be ing within the corporate boundaries of said School District. Said bonds to be dated the 1st day of April, 1953, and, Shall said Board of Edu cation of said School Dis trict cause to be levied an nually as provided by law, against all the taxable prop erty of said School District, a tax sufficient for the pay ment cf the interest and principal of said bonds as the same become due and to provide for a sinking fund.
