That was the rapid exchange of greetings which Mrs. Louis Baumgart of Plattsmouth said recently while at a New York airport. At the airport to bid farewell to her daughter. Mrs. W. H. Burns and three sons, who were leaving for Germany, she also greeted her son. Maior R. F. Hirz. who arrived at the airport from Korea. The three-hour re union was affected bv travel which crossed more than half the globe. Mrs. Baumgart had been vis iting in Wilmington. Delaware for the past two weeks at the home of her son. Major and Mrs. R. F. Hirz and family accom panied her to Plattsmouth for a short visit. He will be assigned to Vet erans hospital at Valley Forge. Pennsylvania. St. Scholastica College. Miss Feldhousen graduated from Plattsmouth high school with the class of 1950. Old Neighbors Meet First Time In Thirty Years C. D. "Sam" Wampler of Al hambra, Calif., has been visiting here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob White for the past week. Mr. Wampler is a for mer Plattsmouth resident. As a resident here many years ago, Mr. Wampler was a neigh bor of Mr. White, and the two attended South Park School to gether. The school has since been torn down. It was the first time they had been to gether in 30 years. The Feldhousens had been guests here at the home of his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Feld housen for the past several weeks. Mr. Feldhousen is a chemical engineer with the research divi sion of the Electro Chemicals Dept.. Dupont. at Niagara Falls. The Feldhousens were guests at the Carl Hengen home in Wahoo on Sunday. Korean Veteran And Wife Are Plattsmouth Guests Major Richard Hirz, wife and daughter, are here as guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Baumgart and Mr. and Mrs. William Hirz. Major Hirz returned in Aug ust from a three year's tour of duty in Korea where he had charge of a detachment of en gineers. He has been visiting with his family in Deleware where they have been residing since his service overseas. He expects to be assigned to service in the United States. Louisville Ward Reunion Held At Church The Ward Reunion was held Sunday at the First Methodist church basement. This year about forty attended and last year nearly 100 attended. Next year the reunion will be held at the Bethany park in Lincoln. Jjouisville Sgt. Bill Ingram. Jr.. is be lieved to be on his way back to the states aeain as his father has had a letter forwarded from the Sergeant's army outfit. Bill has been stationed in Germany for the last 2 years.
