Fertilizer Advised With Wheat Planting University of Nebraska soil specialists are advising farmers to add plenty of fertilizer at the time of planting wheat and seeding grass-leeume mixtures They say the fertilizer will pav off in bigger yields of cram and better seedinc next vear. When wheat plants are well nourished, the specialists sav they are in better shane :o stand up aeainst tho winter. The same goes for legumes. The .soil specialists are recom mending the use of fertiliser carrying 30 to 40 pounds of ni trogen and 30 to 50 pounds of available phosnhate uer aere. The nitrocen also will helu the sujoung oi ine wneat next year and give more heads per acre. Farmers, the specialists advi-e, should order their fertilizer as soon as possible because of t!.' hcrt sunniv in comparison to the demand. !
