Nebraska "Oiling Up for the Future" Do uiu know that Nehrak.i has more acres (S.OUO.000) under oil lease than an) ot the surrounding states? Oil was rirst discovered in Ne braska onlv about 12 vears ago, at a well three miles east of Falls City. Today, Nebraska's oil production is well over 1 ,000,000 barrels a year. Our growing oil industry is just one more achievement about which. Nebraskans can boast. You can be equally proud of our state's brewing industry which, for vears, has carried on an educational campaign with retailers on the importance of approved tavern operation. As a result of this program, the general operation of Nebras ka's taverns miits high praise.
