Weeping Water BIRTH Mr. and Mrs. Renos Anderson are parents of a baby daughter, Beth Marie, who came to join her two brothers on December 29 at Bryan Memorial hospital in Lincoln. Beth Marie tipped the scales at IVz pounds and has Mrs. Peter Anderson as her pa ternal grandmother and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Peterson of Nebras ka City as her maternal grand parents. Mrs. Anderson return ed here from the hospital Fri day. 'Water Kenneth Power, son of O. E. Power, left last Wednesday to resume his studies at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. Prior to his leaving on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Power, he was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Power of Ne hawka. Mrs. Arthur Fitzpatrick left ' by train Saturday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Martin and daughter. Marty, of Los Aneeles. Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cooper drove to Shenandoah Sunday! where they visited with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ruby and daughter, Charmine. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith drove to Gashland, Mo., last Thursday, staying there until the following Saturday. They had been called there by the illness of Mrs. Smith's son, Don ald Coakley, who had an attack of appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Horn and son, David, arrived here late Saturday night from Hugoton, Kan. They left early Sunday I morning for Glenarm, 111., i where Mr. Horn has received a j promotion in the Panhandle i Eastern Gas Company. Six ; months-old David will stay here ! with his grandparents until such time as his parents are able to secure a suitable residence there.
