Mrs. Carl Kr;eger, assisted by Mrs. Bernard Meisinger. put on a candy making demonstration in the mornine. Candy recipes were read for irrbrrs who d3 sired them. Ssn-.nl-s of the candy were distributed. A table full of Christmas goodies and gifts were also on display and passed around for all to view. A covered-dish luncheon was served buffet .style at noon. The club's business meeting was held after the noon lunch eon. Mrs. Bob Vallery presided. Mrs. Jack Valhry read an ap propriate poem and roll call was answered by 22 members. One visitor, Mrs. Neil Snell, and 14 small puests, were also present. In other action, the group ap proved the secretary's report, and heard a letter of thanks re ceived from the Butter-Nut Christmas Club for labels and tin strips the club had sent in. Almost SOU were sent and another ICO are still to bj sent. No treasurer s report was given and the busines meetins closed with the flag salute. The meeting was continued by Mrs. Henry Vinduska and Mrs. Bob Vallery, assisted by Mrs. Cirl Kraeger and Mrs. Bernard Meisinger. They put cn a gilt snd box wrapping: demonstra tion. Beautiful and novel meth ods of gift wrapping were shown. Christmas sprays and floral dec orations were also displayed. A gift exchange followed the demonstrations. Group singing of Christmas carols followed. The next meeting will be held January 8, at the home of Mrs. Albert Kraeger. Mrs. Willis Cole will assist. Maasens Return From Missouri Mr. and Mrs. Herman L. Maa sen have returned from a 10-day trip to Jefferson City.1 Linn, Loose Creek and Slater, Missouri, where they visited Mrs. Maasen's father, Frank Jaegers, and other relatives. Christmas Party ;Held Recently The annual Christmas party I of Fontenelle Chapter, Daugh ters of the American Revolu-1 tion, was held at the home of i Mrs. H. L.
