Mr. and Mrs. Ross Casey and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Rule Nickells in Lincoln. They were evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Evans. Rose Follanshee of Omaha is visiting at the Emil Meisinger home. Mrs. Lloyd Grady and M;s. Bernard Grady attended a par ty at the home of Mrs. Lottie knecht at South Bend Monday afternoon. The Junior-Senior Class Play given at the Greenwood high school was well attended and enjoyed. Greenwood Mr. and Mrs. Windell Burbee of Omaha spent the weekend at the Emil Meisinger home. Avoca Mother, Son Are Accident Victims Mrs. Emma Emshoff and son Eldon of Omaha were hurt in an auto accident Wednesday evening in Omaha. Mrs. Em shoff suffered broken ribs and a broken nose. Eldon broken ribs and leg injuries. They were in the hospital overnight and are at their home able to be around but that is all. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Emshoff. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bogard visited Mr. ' and Mrs. Orvil Thomas and family at Shenan doah, Iowa, Sunday. Fred Marquardts took the fruit to the Children's home at Omaha which was recently col lected. A new furnace was installed at district 105. the new school on O street, November 12, so there was no school. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kepler have moved to the Charles Heasley farm. Avoca House Keepers Have Hobby Show The House Keepers Union met Friday with Mrs. Ernest Have- man. This was a hobby show and each member brought a gift for Christmas. Reports were also given of the extension meeting at Weeping Water.
