She has returned to her home in Lincoln. Dr. Howard LLston is in Bryan Memorial, having underwent an operation for gall stones the lat ter part of last week. Kltnwood Mrs. Schneider Ends Eastern Trip Mrs. Helen Schneider return ed on Monday to her work at the post office. She enjoyed very much her trip to Philadel phia, New York City and Wash ington, D. C. She toured the capital in company with Mrs. Donald Gonzales, Mrs. Emily Gonzales and the friends from Lexington. She spent one night with the Gonzales family in their suburban Maryland home. Kimwooa The Christian church ladies served dinner and supper on Saturday at the church and on Sunday they had an all church dinner. This was the day of the annual business meeting. The same officers were elected for next year. A number of people from here enjoyed the county Sunday school convention at Callahan church on Thursday afternoon and evening. tiimwooil Illinois Family Is Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Willard Jackman of Evanston, 111., visited the Wm. Brunkow family Thursday. Mr. Jackman has also been visiting his father, C. C. Jackman, who has been very ill for the past few days but is improved at this writing. He is at the home of his son. Rev. Herbert Jackman at 1744 So. 24th St., Lincoln, Nebr. Elmwood Mrs. Qal Gerbeling taught last weekror Mrs. Warren Tur ner who was ill with a severe cold. Mrs. George Moomey is clerk ing at the wallpaper store of Harry Green and selling to re tail customers. Kltnwood Band Mothers Elect Officers The following are the new of ficers of the Band Mothers group: President, June Borne meier; Vice President, Alma Marshall; Secretary, Frances Brakhage; Treasurer, Wilma Nickel,- and Reporter, Mary Brunkow. Klmwooa Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Krause are at home after a trip to Ba ton Rouge, La., to visit their son, Arlin and family. They visited friends and relatives in Missouri on the return trip. Mrs. Mary Brunkow was the leader of the first Sunday evening- Bible study class at the Methodist- church . The first series- is to consist of lessons from the book of the Acts. Journal Want Ads Pay!
