Public square dances following exhibition on platform Mrs. Forest Beil Is Honored At Shower Tuesday Some 30 friends and relatives of Mrs. Forest Beil met at Lew iston Community Center Tues day evening at 7:30 for a miscel laneous shower. Several games and contests were enjoyed in which prizes were won by Mrs. Ray Creamer, Mrs. Louis Sack and Mrs. Henry Kuhns. Mrs. Creamer received a corsage of gladioli, which she .presented to the bride. The bride received many love ly and useful gifts. She was assisted in opening and dis playing them by her mother, Mrs. Walter Luhring and moth-er-in-lawr, Mrs. Greeley Beil. Guests -were present from Plattsmouth, Nehawka. Murray and Weeping Water. The evenine was climaxed iwith a delicious lunch of chif fon cake, strawberry whin, cof fee and mints. Hostesses for the shower were Mrs. E. P. Talbert Edwards of Alvo, who broke 50 straight rocks from the 18-yard line, won the featured handicap. Close behind was Art Johanns of Plattsmouth with 48. Johanns broke 92 in the 16-yard event, while Edwards hit 91. Other gunmen and their re sults were Bert Rager of Grecn- iwood, 94 out of 100; Lloyd Schneider of Cedar Creek. 92 100 and 43-50; Elmer Stoehr of Louisville, 87-100 and 38-50; Ed iGroupe of Louisville, 89-100; I Elmer Rosenow of Alvo, 84-100 land 45-50. High School Girls Mrs. Hutchinson Out Of Hospital Mrs. Les Hutchinson who was ;eriously injured in an auto ac cident several weeks ago, re turned to her home here Mon day from Methodist hospital at Omaha. Dr. McClusky Returns Home Dr. H. G. McClusky, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, returned home Tuesday from Clarkson hospital, Omaha. He has been spending the past two weeks undergoing treatment for a heart ailment. He will have to remain on the inactive list for some time at least. The armory is located on First Avenue just off Sixth street. Karr said many weapons will be displayed during the open house. He also said that Oie 355th In fantry regiment is planning to be here for the G. I. Parade Friday night. '.Todd pleaded guilty to the charge. Arrest was Dy rauui man LeRoy Jensen. Trov Hoesatt was fined $150 and costs and paroled to Sher iff Tom Solomon for one year on a charge of joy riding. Wm. C. Byroim was fined $15 and costs in county court on a charge of carrying a loaded shotgun on the highway.
