Mrs. George Gade returned home from the hospital Wed nesday after a two weeks stay there. Her sister. Mrs. Arnold Weed, is now making a short visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Erickson west of Ash land, before returning to her home in Gooding, Idaho. Miss Marilyn Mumm of Omaha is spending two weeks with her aunt, Mrs. Bennett Bornman and Mr. Bornman and daugh ters. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Weiler and Kenny of Lincoln were Wednesday supper guests at the Harold Kellogg home. South Ashland Out-Of-Staters Are Visitors Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jones and children of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Emma Jones of Chey enne, Wyo., came Thursday eve ning for a few days visit with their sister and daughter, Mrs. A. D. Backman and Mr. Back man. This is the first in nine years that Mr. Jones has visited here. Mrs. Emma Jones will make an extended stay with her daughter, Mrs. Backman. Family Picnic Is Held Wednesday A family picnic was enjoyed! on the lawn of Mr. and Mrs' John B. Peterson the Fourth. The group included Mr. and Mrs. George Isaac, Jr., Mrs. Helen Storer and Kathrine and Miss Doris Blackman, all of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Will Blackman, Mr. and Mrs. Arlow Wollen and George Isaac of Ashland and Melvin Peterson. South Aslilanl Staff Sgt. Jerry Von Ornes of Offutt air base was a Thursday evening supper guest at the Benett Bornman home. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Laughlin called at the Grafton Laughlin home in Omaha Friday and services for Mr. Armstrong's cousin, Cyrus P. Mason of Oma ha at Wyuka cemetery at Lin coln Saturday afternoon.
