Despite the rainy weather on Sunday a good attendance made the Bible School Rally Day and the annual meeting at the Chrisuan church a pleasant event. Covered dish dinner was served in the dining room after the morning service and busi ness session. Officers elected were the same as last year ex cept one new deacon was chosen Robert DankJeff. Ed Earnst is presiding officer. Mr. and Mrs. Donzel Erikscr of Arnold spent Friday and Sat urday nights with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Hollenbeck. On Saturday they enjoyed the Nebraska-Indiana football game at Lincoln. Both are former uni versity of Nebraska students. Mrs. Earl Horton gave her book review of "Mary" at Ash land on Thursday evening. Mr. Morton and she drove there in their car. Rev. and Mrs. W. B. After the supper was over the evening was spent in playing games. This was the minister's, Val Johnson, birthday. The group all joined in singing Happy Birthday before the sup per.
