Walter Upland, I Elmer Umland, Verne Hoffman land Georae Hoffmann. Burial was in the Eagle cem etery . DIES AT LINCOLN Albert Wulf passed away in a Lincoln hospital June 12th at the age of 64 years. Mr. Wulf had been a resident of the Eagle community almost all his life and had engaged in farm ing until his health failed. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving him are a sister. Miss Mary Wulf of Eagle; five brothers, Victor. Fred. Rudolf and George of Eagle and Wil liam of Lincoln and many other Relatives. X Funeral services were held on Thursday. June 15. at Imman uel Lutheran Church in Eagle with Rev- Fred Worthmann of- Mr. and Mrs. man, Mr. and Schwegman. Mr. bert Schwegman, Fred Schwec Mrs. August and Mrs. Al Lou:e Schweg man and Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Wenzel were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Schwegman- Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Nelson of Eagle and Mr. and Mrs. Myrl Miller and family drove to Cer esco last Sunday and attended a family gathering at the home of Mr. ana Mrs. John Finnigan. Mrs. Esther Horn, who is be ing cared for at Rest Haven Home at Weeping Water, spent Tuesday of this week with Mrs. William Trumble and Mrs. Fred Spahnle. The following guests were also entertained at their hnrr.p drring the afternoon, honoring Mrs. Horn: Mrs- Lin nie Deles Denier of Lincoln; Mrs. G. K. Palmer. Mrs. . Otto Keielhut, Mrs. Pauline Oiler man, Mrs. Tina Butt. Mrs. Mary Lanning. Mrs. Sarah Keil and Mrs. Dorothea Keil. A loveiy lunch was served at the close of a pleasant afternoon. Members of Immanuel Luth eran Sunday School enjoyed a picnic n the church lawn last Sunday. Mrs. Carrie Trimble and Miss Merna Stradley spent last Sun day in Osceola with Mrs. Trimble 'ss sister. Mrs- Chester Warrick, Mr. Warrick and fam ily. Mrs. I. A. Stall and daughter, Ramona are spending a few days this wetk with Mrs. Stall's son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Burlingarne of Califor nia, Missouri. Miss Eileen Reynolds of Blocmfield is visiting her aunt, Phillip'. Mr. Phil- Mrs Robert lips and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Busker of Elk Point, S. D-, spent Sunday with Mrs. Busker's parents. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Adams. Their children. Suzanne and Bill had spent the past week with their grandparents. They all return ed home Sunday evening. Dr. and Mrs. Russell Colbert and family of Louisville, Ky.. are visiting Mrs. Colbert's parents, Mr. and Mrs- Edward Gerhard and other relatives in the Eagle community. H. L. Scattergood was taken to Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln for treatment the first of last week. His condition is reported to be serious. Gary Earl, who had under gone an operation on his feet at a Lincoln hospital was able to return home the latter part of i last week. j Mr. and Mrs. Fred Muenchau i and Gayle and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Muenchau and daughter attended Ihe Poblyer pirnie nt Bethany Park in Lincoln last Sunday. Mrs. Harold Oldfield bought the Zinsmaster Cafe the first of the week. Mrs. Oldfield for merly operated the cafe before selling it to the Zinsmasters- Harmon Ruliffson. son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Ruliffson is em ployed with the State Depart ment of Roads and Irrigation as a chemist. He is located at Arapahoe. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Palmer en joyed having as their guests the first of last week the former's sister, Mrs. Dolly Winning and daughters. Ina and Mrs. Glen Deppe, Mr. Deppe and son of Percy, Illinois. Mr. and Mrs Palmer's two sons. Raymond of Seward and Charles of Lincoln and their families also were here and visited with their aunt and her family during .their stay in Eagle. UPi Or ville Fisher, who circulated suc cessful petitions calling for an Okmulgee county grand jury, was indicted himself by that jury before it adjourned. Fisher wanted the jury to investigate bootleggers who he charged were unmolested while he was run out of the liquor business by repeat ed raids. He was indicted for selling whiskey to minors.
