Clark was held at the Alvo Methodist church, Sunday, April 3rd. Charles was killed in Oki nawa in 1945. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Nickle held open house on April 2nd in hon or of their 50th wedding anni versary. A large crowd attend ed the occasion. Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Murrill and Valeria and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Miller accompanied the Youth Fellowship group to the Cass County Christian Fellow ship association meeting at the Murdock Emanuel Evangelical church, April 2. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Dimmitt also attended the meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kellogg and family and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Rueter and Joy Ann spent Sunday at the Fred Rueter home. Kunz and family have moved to the farm owned by George Meyer north of town. The city election was held I Tuesday with thirty-six votes being cast. Elmer Hallstrom and Roy Ruhge were re-elected for the$town board. Barbara Hallstrom, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hallstrom, was very ill Monday morning.
