Mrs. Robert M. Walling who was operated on a week ago at the St. Mary's hospital at Ne braska City, is reported as show ing a wonderful improvement. It is expected that she will be able to leave the hospital today or Friday. Mrs. Walling will go to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Meyer, where she will remain for a short time be fore returning to Plattsmouth. Virgil Perry to Assist T. H. Pollock Virgil W. Perry, who has been employed at the Plattsmouth Creamery for some time, has resigned his position and will devote his time to assisting T. H. Pollock in the operation of his farm and city properties. Chuck-holes, frost-blisters and blow-holes will possibly be very rrevalent this spring. These hazards, created by intermittent freezing and thawing, can easily threw a car into the opposing lane cf traffic, overturn the car in the roadway, or throw the au to into the ditch. As a preventative to such acci dents. Horace Crosby, president cf the Safety Council, urged that motorists be especially alert and keep their speeds at such a level ?s to be ready for any emergen cy. Also included in the warning was the advice to keep the wind shield, lights and tail-lights free frcm road film and mud. Crosbj' warned that it is impossible for o'her cars to see you if the lights and tail lights are covered.
