CI CI !C AT THSE SE r, : - VI rm. x i We WM FRU V y 3ll BLU Cass County Extension Notes Watch for the Terrace Dam age: Heavy accumulations of ice in terrace channels may have caused snow waters to break over terraces. Breaks such as these should be checked and repairs made as soon as possible. Great damage may result if the ter races are not repaired by the time spring rains arrive. Wheat apparently not damag ed by ice: In recent tests at the University of Nebraska Experi ment Station, wheat plants were removed from ice covered fields and placed in greenhouses, where they were allowed to remain at normal growing temperatures. To date, every plant is making a normal growth. Although final effects of the ice cover cannot be measured until spring, little wheat damage is expected from this cause. An electronic interoffice com- j munication system that is com pletely housed within the form of a fine desk pad has been designed. M lov Z.
