AND WHEREAS, the Cass County Historical Society has checked and made a record of 43 cemeteries in Cass County of which number approximately one dozen are now neglected or a bandoned; and that the Historical Society has had a petition circu lated praying that the County Commissioners may allow $100.00 for the purpose , of rejuvenating and carirur for abandoned ceme teries where the early pioneers of Cass Countv have been buried. AND WHEREAS, the Board of Countv Commissioners ere con vinced that this is an eminently worthy matter to be taken up bV the Cass County Historical Rociptv. THEREFORE, Be it Resolved bv the Board of Commissioners of Cass County, Nebraska that $100.00 be set aside from the gen eral fund and allowed to the Cass County Historical Society for fencing and caring for ne glected and abandoned cemeter ies, among the first of which to be cared for being the Doom Cemetery, the Clemmons Ceme terv and the Kanosha Cemetery, Dated this 20th day of July 1948.
