TORPE DOES, BOMBS AND FIRE WORKS IN THE CITY' OF PLATTSMOUTH, NEBRASKA; TO REGULATE THE USE OF FIRE ARMS; TO PROHIBIT THE USE AND SALE OF CER TAIN EXPLOSIVES; AND TO PROVIDE A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE SAME. BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Ciy of Plattsmouth, Nebraska: Section 1. It shall be unlaw ful for any person, or persons, or company of pers'ons, except public officers in discharge of duty, to ignite or explode tor pedoes, bombs, firecrackers, pis tols, guns, or any device con taining guncotton, dynamite or powder in the City of Platts mouth, Nebraska. Section 2. It shall be unlaw-: ful for any person, or pers'ons, or company cf persons, to sell, to offer for sale cr to give away, torpedoes, bombs, firecrackers, and fireworks or any device containing guncotton, dynamite or powder, excepting shells for firearms and exoloslves for commercial use, in the City of Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Section 3. The City Council may by resolution permit any person, petsons or company of persons to exhibit fireworks on the streets' or public grounds of the City, but such person, per sons, or company, must first ob tain a written order from the Mayor, and such exhibitions shall be made under the super vision of the police officers' of the city. Section 4. It shall be the duty of the police officers to at once arrest anyone violating any of the provisions of this ordinance and forthwith to take such per son before the police judge or the justice of the peace, then and there to file a complaint against such offender. Section 5. Any person or per sons violating- any of the pro visions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum of not more than $50.00. Section 6. Ordinance Number 230 is hereby repealed. Section 7. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days af ter its pass'age, approval and publication as provided by law. PAGE FIVE Returns Here After 28 Years Grover Will, a former resident of Plattsmouth and Cass county, with Mrs. Will arrived here on Wednesday fcr the first time in twenty-eight years coming from their home at Grants Pass, Ore., where they have resided in recent years. Mr. Will left Plattsmouth in 1920, going t; California where members of his family had settled to become a part of the early migration to the coast. He resided in California for a num ber of years until moving north to Washington to make his home. He is a son of the late A. S. and Mrs. Will. While here they are visiting at the home cf Mr. and Mrs. John Vallery, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Leonard of near Mynard and with Fred Wills, a brother of Grover.
