Navy Seeks New Reserve Recruits The navy announced that 5.000 vacant billets in ships I electronic volunteer for active duty for one year, with an option of remain ing on active duty an additional year, provided funds permit. Active duty with full pay, al lowances, and sea pay when ap p'icable, will be for general s'er vice and is necessary to imple ment deficiencies in the fleet. Applications are desired from Classes V-l.
