Paul Sehantill received word Monday night that she is a grand mother, a baby having been born to her eldest daugh ter in Omaha. John Schoeman who has been ill all winter was able to go to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Salberg, Sunday for dinner, with the Salbrrg family. Mrs. Henry Thierlf of Cedar Creek was a Louisville shopper Tuesday. This was Mrs. Thier olf's first trip to Louisville for a long- time. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Mayfield and Mr. and Mrs". Gene Mayfield of Omaha came down Saturday evening t0 help their father celebrate his birthday. 1 Delno Hart has gone to Cali fornia and Mrs. Hart and daugh ters. Braun, C6, died sud denly of a heart attack at his' home in Murdock Friday. The children of the Heil School, east of town, took ad vantage of the fine spring day ' Tuesday and visited the Ash Cement Plant and also the Kahler Pottery Plant. They were ac companied by their teacher, Mrs. Mabel Ingram. The District meeting of the Rebekahs was held at Nebraska City on May 11. The Luken Chevrolet Com pany has completed its' move from the Dietrich building to its own building, across the street from the old location. The Arrfricfn Leg'ion Auxi liary held its regular meeting Thursday, May 6 in the hotel dining room. A poppy Day skit was given for entertainment. A good crowd was present at the IOOF Hall last Monday night when the lodge conferred the first degree on Duane Hlavac. A former member, Lloyd Larson, was' reinstated. The senior class play was held at the city hall Thursday and i Friday evenings of this week. The name of the play was the 'Adorable Imp.' Mr. and M;;. J. F. Zastera celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary Sunday. They went to Omaha where they were din ner guests of their daughter, Miss Josephine. The Boy Scouts held a court of honor Sunday night at the Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Hickman of Kansas City were week end guests of Mr. Hickman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hickman and of Mrs. Hickman's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Twiss. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Williams of Kansas City, Kansas, arrived Friday to spend the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Inman and daughter Ann Mrs. Williams is a s'ister of Mrs. In man. Mrs. H. C. They went by plane. Amos Hrabik. jr.. son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hrabik, left last Thursday for Longview, Wash ington. He expects to work in a lumber camp where he has an uncle, who is a foreman.
