Section Two) isnea price cumiui. it nas on ux u.iiei mai n we give pruuui.- tion a free range that supply and demand will adjust prices to normal. This writer cannot go along with the theory because the laws of supply and demand do not control pr!ces, but rather supply and demand are controlled by prices. This thought is best illustrated as follows: if at the present, automobiles were selling for $10,000 instead cf $2,000, supply would now be ahead of demand because high prices have reduced the number of purchasers who have $10.C00 for the purchase cf an automobile. Whereas, on the other hand, if automobiles sold for $100 instead of their present prices, i i - a i Ti i t W 1,1 ., ;Jf;;. It can therefore be readily seen that the j the resident owners above des Republican propaganda of supply and demand adjusting prices is ! cribed are filed with the said without foundation and that unless in the control of sky-rocketing prices, that supply and demand will never meet. I wonder if the Cass County farmers are satisfied with the Re publican agriculture program. Does praise to th University of Nebraska in the Republican platform promise the farmers any thing definite? We have had but one definite word from the Re publicans on the agriculture program and those were the words of Taft which we all remember. This writer wants to know if the Nebraska Republicans are going to repudiate Taft or if they are oing to repudiate the farmers. . cjj Qf sai cjty. passecj5 approved, you. in accordance with the ; and ordered published Ordin prayer of said petition i f.nce No- 826 crea-ting and estab- D WIGHT M TALCOTT, ; lishing a.
