Daniel Stratton left Monday morning for Plattsmouth, where he will be employed at the Nor folk factory. Mrs. Sterling Hadley and three children have been visitors at the Alton Sterling home this past this week. The home has just been completed and is in the same yard with their former farm home. Byron Baker was the contractor. It is of the bungalow type with six rooms and bath, and all modern conveniences, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Murdock are moving into their new home with full basement. Mr. and Mrs. WiUiam Wendt have moved in with their daugh ter, Mrs. Louis Grable, and Mr. Wendt will assist her in the man agement of the farm. Geo. Ear hart has moved on to the Joe Wolpert farm where the Wendts had made their home for the past year. A group of Mrs. Harley Meisin ger's neighbors and friends gath ered at her home Monday after noon and completely surprised her on her birthday. The after noon was spent in visiting. Those who attended were Mrs. Walter Little, Mrs. Kenneth Dok ter, Mrs. Owen Carter, Mrs. Ray Knopt, Mrs. Grace Harter and Mrs. Ethel Herman. Norman Hutchinson, of Modes ta, California, is visiting his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hutch inson. He expects to remain for about a month.
