The Harold Voglers were great ly surprised February 1, when rel atives came in with well filled baskets to help them celebrate Mrs. Vogler's birthday, and their second wedding anniversary. All enjoyed the fine dinner and an afternoon of visiting. Those pres ent were Mr. and Mrs George Vogler Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Vogler, Mr. and Mrs. L. The latest news from Dorothy Murtey Falkner was from Haiti, where she had flown after hav ing been in Jamaica and in Nas sau She said "Each island is lovelier than the last one visit ed" and if she could get reser vations that she hoped to visit the Virgin Islands and Havana, before returning to her home in Willmington, Delaware. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh T. Hanlan returned home Monday evening after a two week's visit at Iowa City and Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Hanlan had reservations on the train which was wrecked at Iowa City, Sunday evening, but they arrived at the station in Chica go too late to board their train, so waited and took a later train.
